Bad taste, fear mongering, cheesy rock ballads, tributes to Russian gas - the videos of the military-industrial complex are so awesomely bad!

That changed this morning, when Stephen Trimble posted this psychedelic Chinese cartoon of cutesy, smiling jets from Washington and Beijing trading missiles to the tune of "Miserlou." Planes like the J-10, FC-20, B-2, F-117, KC-10 and F-22 are all featured in what Trimble dubs the "Sgt. Pepper's dogfight cartoons." Me, I'm just hoping to avoid a flashback.

Google has announced a rather bold move today: It will no longer censor search results on Google.cn, the Chinese version of the search engine. Apparently they will maintain this stance, even if it ends in shutting down Google.cn.
