“Fairy tales and legends” - its the theme of this year’s ongoing (until May 31) World Sand Sculpture Festival at the Tottori Sand Dunes in Tottori prefecture, Japan. Nineteen massive works crafted by world-class sculptors from ten nations are on display.

Oh my God, I had no idea they had such breathtaking sculptures in Japan, whats the occasion again?? is this first time? How do they keep the sand solid yea?? hmmm
