Lee Byeong Chun and his glow in the dark dogs. A puppy named Ruppy, shortness of Ruby Puppy, is the first transgenic dog in the world. He and four other dogs who have what a normal dog doesn't have anywhere in the world.
Ruppy is the result of Byeong-Chun Lee and his team's experiment from Seoul National University, South Korea. They performed fibroblast cloning cells produced by sea anemone on Ruppy. The mother dog, Hence its name is, can turn red under ultraviolet rays. Lee interjected dog fibroblast cells with a virus carrying fluorescent genes which will then be inserted into the genes with the nucleus cells.

Waah! cool dogs. Im not sure if I should run for my life once I turn off the lights or stare at it all night losing sleep if I had one of these dogs??
