Asian Tattoos
In Ancient China and Japan, tattoos were used as part of a punishment to a prisoner for a criminal offense. This is to brand the person who had committed a crime. However the increasing social awareness and acceptance of tattoos changed the picture, especially today when tattoo is already considered an art, tattoo is proved to be one of the coolest body markings of all time.

is it therefore not ok for asians to use western ideas / inventions? i've seen a few asians use cars, computers, wear suits, use electricity etc

does it truly matter, its on there body dont look at it if you dont agree with it. Asains should be proud that white people are putting chinese symbols or other things on there body. thats not racist

How exactly do they "bastardize" it? That's ignorant and rascist. The majority of white people who get asian tattoos actually know what they mean.

it's cool for asian to have asian tattoos but it's stupid to see white men/women with asian writing tattooed on them. these are sacred characters that represent our culture and they bastardize it.sick
